Sibu- what make so special
Sibu, was once the second largest town in Sarawak, have recently overtaken by Miri to become the third largest town in Sarawak.
Sibu, located in the mighty Rejang River, the largest and longest river in Malaysia.
There is much of scenic view or place to go but Sibu is famous for some delicious cuisine.
Beelin, mostly found in sibu, are one of the dishes that I have miss a lot. Whenever, back in sibu, I will make sure I have a taste of this dish.
Sibu Kampua
Kampua is a famou foochow dish mostly found in sibu. It is cheap, costing less than RM3. It come with slices of char siew with soup. The Mee for kampua are different from other as it is tender and soft. Come in different varieties either serve with soup itself or dry with chillie sauce or soya sauce. Love it
Sarawak Laksa
Famous among Sarawak people.
Kompia
Another delicacies from Sibu. It can be serve plain, which is already delicious or come with meat.
This are among some if the food found in sibu and more.
I really miss this food but when back in Sibu, can't take all cause there so many to choose.
